- Real Estate Transactions: Represented numerous clients in hotel, golf course, resort, commercial and residential buy sell, development, financing, reorganization and leasing transactions. Conducted due diligence reviews for major acquisitions by clients. Advised developers concerning subdivision projects, including sales documentation, development agreements, affordable housing agreements, disclosures, and formation of community associations. Past and present transactions and projects include: Island of Lanai, Waikiki Beach Walk, The Town Center of Mililani, Wailea Resort, Kauai Lagoons Resort, Four Seasons Resort Wailea, Mililani Mauka, Royal Kunia, Waiahole Ditch, Castle & Cooke Spinoff, Hualalai Resort, University of Hawaii – West Oahu, and Harbor Court.
- Business Transactions: Represented clients in drafting and negotiating a wide array of contracts, such as construction, consulting, service, licensing, management, agency and settlement agreements.
- Litigation: Represented clients in real estate, landlord-tenant, foreclosure, mechanic’s lien, insurance coverage, negligence, and construction disputes.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution: Represented clients in successful mediation and settlement proceedings involving multiple parties in real estate, construction, and environmental disputes. Acted as court appointed arbitrator in personal injury lawsuits and pro bono mediator in a variety of cases.
